This is a great westerns story, ranges far and wide with wonderfully heroic characters, very bad men and everything in between. I have watched the mini series a number of times and it's always a roller coaster of emotions. Proves that you don't need a lot of special effects to make a good movie. Ranks as one of the best examples of movie making in my opinion
