Totally reliant on volume based jump scares and just horrid acting even for the horror genera. I disliked all the members in the family and was disappointed not to see them mutilated. This is a weak watered down copy that tries to inject new technology into old scares and all the mistakes and bad acting prevent you from ever actually watching the movie. That squirrel in the closet was the best actor.
