Lion King remains a fantastic story however I think viewers will connect better with the original. The casting of simba and nala are a failure in my opinion.. Timon and Pumba for me were the stars of the movie. Mufasa & rafiki fantastic.. but simba and nala failed to capture the emotional side of their stories and tug at the heart strings as in the animation.. I think it's due to the actors casted.. I never felt the emotion or connected to the characters..Disappointed but makes me want to rewatch the original..
