I studied film and the fact so many complain of it being slow is so telling. Hollywood and music biz have destroyed film today. Spoiled children have to have speed overchurned drama car chase scenes sex and violence. This is one of the best pieces of film work since THE SOPRANOS. Visually most scenes have depth of meaning. And it'll be better second viewing for sure. I suggest when watching something so esoteric nuanced and deep to not try to understand everything. Let it kind of wash over you it a Big Picture Approach and you'll have more pleasure watching. Then the second time around it'll be even better as you see and understand more. Great piece of filmmaking. Gives me hope for the art form.
