It was a good story but too many people died. After all he went through to get to England, to kill off Christian was ridiculous. It served no story line that made it worthwhile.. I like the actors tho the Croatian mafia - mom was kind of a stereotype. A little too broadly played. Hannah & Billy were natural in their depictions of their characters.

The ending ruined the movie for me. It was OK UNTILL THE END. I hated the ending. It disturbed me very much. Plus there were no characters that I liked except for Daniel Craig.

I rarely abandon a book or show or movie before the end. I usually stick it out to see what happens to the characters. In this movie, I didn’t cate enough for any of them to stick around. I hated it. Not one enjoyable moment in the first half. Nothing I cared about. It was confusing, dull & uninter. I do not recommend it.

Excellent acting by all. I was a little confused in the beginning cause so many men had beards & looked alike.Hard to tell who was whom. A lot of details in the telling of this tale; lots of twists & turns. It does not show the people of the Allegahney mountain towns in a good light. In a way, it’s almost too honest. Showing all the dysfunctional families, their lives & their hopelessness. Everyone knows everything about everyone. It’s a small town with small town problems. Kate Winslet is a very good actress but she is so honestly plain in this, she’s almost homely. She & Guy Pearce are Australians & they learned the dialect perfectly. I cannot imagine anyone beating her for an Emmy. The mystery is presented well. I did not think any of it was improbable. I binged watching four parts the first time & the next night I watched all the rest of the story. I love mysteries & this did not disappoint.
