An amazing read! cudos to Deborah she really went above and beyond for her daughter. This book really does highlight how difficult access to mental health was in the 60s-70s. When you’re reading this book you’re feeling Deborah’s pain how she did everything in her power to give Nancy the best life she could. The way she describes grief is honest and moving. That grief is a natural part of life but without she’d never found her purpose in life after Nancy died. Truly worth reading!

This absolutely gut-wrenching novel by John Boyne accurately depicts the perspective of a 9-year-old during the holocaust and the absolute tragedies that come with war. A very fast exciting read, a page-turner, making you more excited to know what happens next. An absolutely brilliant and clever plot. If you're looking for a book that will make you cry your eyes out this is an absolute gem and must read.

I usually don’t write reviews but this movie deserves one. This is by far one of the best Batman movies I’ve seen so far. One of the best things in my opinion about this movie was the plot. The way the plot was written was like the style of a murder mystery and it was very interesting and interactive. The plot never felt boring because when one mystery was solved, it just opened a door to another mystery. In the 2 hours of this movie it felt as if each mystery was well paced, which is extremely hard to do in an action movie so HUGE PROPS to the screen writers. Another strong point is the actors performances. Some standouts to me were Robert Pattinson and Paul Danos performances. Their acting styles compliment each other so well, especially in scenes where it’s just the two of them, but the whole cast was imo perfectly casted. The cinematography is not only visually appealing but perfectly captures the mood of what’s happening in that scene. You can feel the tension, FEEL the feelings and motivations of each of the characters which is extremely hard to do in a mostly action based movie again so props to the cinematographers. The reason why I took a star off though is because at times the action scenes felt stiff and lack luster. I think it was because most of the actors weren’t well trained in stunts. The subpar action scenes took away from the immersive ness of the movie. However, the plot, the acting, the cinematography, all make up for it and I’d totally recommend for someone to watch this movie!
