I was reluctant to watch this movie at first. Later, i started noticing everyone talking positively about this movie. That got me to read the movie plot. But still not fascinated much. Reluctantly I decided to watch it. I should appreciate the director for taking such bold step in making that movie. Next person would be the cinematographer. This guy really presented such visuals that I love to watch. BGM was also good! Tamil actors delivered very good performance. Nothing was felt as a drama. The movie was really entertaining. If anyone has any habit to over intellectualize things, then I would recommend not to waste your time. I hope it would have been a nostalgia had Kamal Hassan watched this movie.

ഇതെന്ത് പടം? 🤔 ഒരു സാധനം മനസ്സിലായില്ല. പടത്തിന്റെ synopsis കണ്ടിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ പോവില്ലായിരുന്നു. ആരെങ്കിലും ഒരു voice over ചെയ്തിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളാമായിരുന്നു. ഇതിലും എത്രയോ മഹത്തായ പടങ്ങൾ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു മലയാളത്തിൽ. വിമർശിക്കയല്ല! കുറ്റം പറയരുതല്ലൊ, BGM കൊള്ളാം👌. അർജുൻ അശോകന് ഒരു അവാർഡ് കൊടുക്കാം. നല്ല പ്രകടനം! മമ്മൂട്ടിക്ക് ഇനി ആരോടും ഒന്നും prove ചെയ്യാനില്ല. ബോറടിമാറ്റാൻ പടങ്ങൾ commit ചെയ്യുന്ന പോലെ. Just my assessment.

Mithun Manuel is a potential writer and a director. However, this movie was a little incoherent. Location plays an important role in every movies. We want it more realistic, but at the same time it needs to be pleasing to the viewers. Castwise, Jayaram was not a right fit. Had it been Suresh Gopi, it would have been better. Jayaram could not exploit the character to its fullest. He could not portray the character well. A trauma that happened in that character's family pushed the character into a state of apathy to life. Throughout he held a mask like face, with only one expression. With such state of mind how can a police officer, that too at the capacity of an Asst Commissioner of Police, be assigned with a task of crime investigation that involved mysterious serial killing. The character's constitution itself was a not a match. The only consolation was the presence of Mammootty, that too in the second part. Indisputably he did justice to the character. Perhaps, Mammootty was the lifesaver for this movie. I wish the crew a good luck!

Another thriller genre movie. Thrillers are nothing new to malayalis. Screenplay and direction constructed very well. Music composers have no role in Jeethu's movies. They have to satisfy with BGM. Performance wise, I personally felt Priya Mani's performance dashing. Jagadish has been getting somewhat monotonous roles, of late. Mohanlal's ability to conceive a character is phenomenal.
