I feel like the main romance was really weak and had some poor writing. Speaking of poor writing it was pretty in your face with the topics they decided to represent. The over the top aggression made it rough to watch or feel emotionally invested in said topics. Was not at all expected either. The description and previews did not bring any of it to light. I did finish the show but was just underwhelmed overall.
