Cecil Brews

As a long time fan of the book series I admit I started watching it with very low expectations. But from the first minute to the last I was fully delighted. Sam Reid had Lestat in his veins, his transformation on the screen is almost terrifying. Just look at his hands gestures when in character. Jacob Anderson as Louis was a great surprise. He gave us a very deep and complex character, even more than the one you find in the book. Bailey Bass is incredible, so young and so talented, you can see Claudia's mind growing old in her ethernal teen body, showing she can be the kindnest sister and the bloodiest pshycho. Eric Bogosian playing a new Daniel Molloy, who is not just there pasively listening to Louis, but to furiously looking for what truth is this creature hiding from him. Of course the technical aspect is pristine, the props, the light, the scenary, the music, the shots, it's sad we only have 7 episodes per season but I understand such big project must be really hard to shoot these days. (and during a pandemic!)
