This show is intense. It gives me flashbacks from being incarcerated. It’s so real, and addresses REAL issues associated with being incarcerated as well as life after incarceration. It’s disturbing, and saddening. Sad doesn’t do it justice- more so intensely f*ed up. But it’s reality. I’ve never been so touched on such a deep level by a show before. Touched more so in a heart wrenching way. It’s just disgustingly sad and real. It made my heart hurt for Daniel. But it hit me on a personal level.
