I have a feeling a lot of the down ratings on this movie are from people who entered in already determined to hate it. In terms of the Disney live action standard, I thought this was one of the better ones. The Little Mermaid is not my fav Disney story so I wasn’t overhyped about it coming out, but I have to admit they created a visually stunning movie that I could not look away. They stayed close to the source material, while taking some liberties like every live action film before it. It was not a big deal. It didn’t change the overall plot in anyway. A lot of the criticisms seem like nitpicking. I would watch it again when it comes on Disney plus.

I’m sorry…did he give her the same ring at the end he bought for another woman…..🤦🏽‍♀️ Did he plan a move without consulting the woman he planned to propose to…This dude was not a catch. Neither was the other dude. Both girls would have been better off single….
