If you take this movie as satire, which I did, then this is hilarious. If the movie wasn’t meant as satirical then it’s just terrible. I’m torn. I believe that Bob Odenkirk has enough street cred after BB and Better Call Saul to know which type of film works for him. He had to know that nothing other than ridiculous comedy would evolve from this script. A fun waste of 1.5 hours if you appreciate that it’s absurd on purpose.
