I saw this in theaters when it came out, and I remember not being mad at it but wishing it wasn't as predictable or that I liked the acting more (although SLJ rocked it as usual). Just rewatched for the 1st time since and I feel the same feelings several years later. The traps were interesting, but it's pretty obvious who the killer is in the first 30 minutes if you've ever seen a scary movie literally even once in your life. I also did enjoy the few easter eggs and homages throughout referencing the franchise.
