This book encapsulates so well the development,not only of St.Louis County,but also of all of the developing iron mining areas and communities.I was born in 1937 and grew up in Bovey,MN.My grandfather,his son,my father,and I,too, worked in the iron mines,(very briefly).The book fits me an old shoe-very good!Thanks so much for making this information available for Iron Rangers,MN historians,and the general public.
