Here we have, once again, another dumb protagonist. It makes me once again wants me to root for the antagonist, but then again, there aren't no good characters in the novel, except for one good character, but is only present for like two scenes of the novel. Nick Haraway is a bad narrator, Gatsby as mentioned earlier is pretty stupid.

The novel is pretty ok, we have a pretty stupid protagonist who we are suppose to root for because the book says so, and we have an amazing antagonist (who in my opinion is the actual hero of the novel) who seeks justice for the plot of the novel. There's a coward of a man who I feel like readers are going to hate, (or like), then there's the girl who's just there. Hester Prynne is stupid for not knowing the rules to the society she lives in, I root for Roger Chillingworth to find the guy who screwed with his wife, and Arthur Dimmisdale is a big coward and doesn't know his rule to society either, then there is Pearl which only matters for literary purposes, other than that, she's just there....

In my mind, this movie to me is the most frustrating and most disappointing movie out of the entire saga, bellow Episode I, II, and VI. The story felt lazily written compared to its predecessors. I feel like this could be the movie that unites all Star Wars fans to agree that this movie was a disappointment.

Not as good as it's predecessor, this movie tells a compeling story. Although, this movie sort of feels like a fanmade movie, changing the character of Luke Skywalker from a hopeful and bright Jedi master to a broken man who has somehow lost the connection to the force although (spoilers) where he's at should have a big connection to the force because it's a freakin Jedi temple, so he shouldn't lose his connection to the force. The movie completely forgets the elements of the last movie, Knights of Ren, There are saving graces which makes it not-so-bad film such as Yoda appearing, Etc.

Clearly the strongest and clearly the best movie out of the sequel trilogy, this movie has a great story, great characters, a great improvement from some moments from the prequel trilogy. I will never forget the feeling I had walking out of the theaters after watching The Force Awakens. This movie is a good example of how to make a perfect introduction to a franchise after 10 years gap between The Force Awakens and Revenge of the Sith.
