Gargi Marawar

This the first book that I've read by Stephen King and to be honest I was a little disappointed. I had high expectations given his reputation for well lit horror but The Outsider made me question that. All in all there are no jump scares or suspense and do not expect any vibes of a 'thriller' because there aren't any.

A well thought out book but failed to engage me. The imagery created was inconsistent and difficult to follow up. The ending could have been much better give the fact that it's a work of fiction.

I absolutely enjoyed this book! The narrative adopted by Trevor truly engaged me. I could not put it down. I laughed, I sympathized but the true hero of the book is without a second thought his mother. Patricia is the most bad ass woman to ever live. There's so much to learn from her. One of the best books I've come across so far. A must read.
