Sheer genius! Three women of color, brilliant writing, acting and directing! I came home and pulled my book out to start reading again. I will definitely go back to see this film again. Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor’s acting was unbelievably good, she became Isabel Wilkerson (Oscar worthy). However, I do understand, like the book “Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents”, is not going to be for everyone. Everyone may not understand it, but I hope this film is appreciated by all.
