Really surprised to see the soaring bad reviews about this movie. The movie tried out a new concept where 3 generations of the famous detective Byomkesh participated in solving a mystery. The direction and the acting was also not too bad. This attempt to look at a old classical fictional character in a contemporary backdrop is not entirely new concept as we have seen in extremely successful BBC's Sherlock Holmes series. This movie was trying something along that line and I appreciate the attempt. It could have been better---but it definitely is not as bad as the reviews are saying here.
