Marshall Road

I was recommended this book by my ex father in law years ago when I was 9months pregnant also had a 4 year old and took my maternity leave early to spend time w my 4y before the new baby came. I wasn’t much of a reader back then. I was 19 and really only read the books required when I was still in HS. Anyway, I could NOT put it down. I read it twice back to back the first time. I remember my 4y olds favorite show would come on right after bath time and she’d watch 2 episodes while her and I snuggled in the recliner, and then it was bedtime (per our normal routine) but I’d get so wrapped up in the book next thing I know she’s knocked out and it’s an hour past her bedtime. Best book of all time!!! My kids are now 17 and 14 and read it tons of times throughout the years!!!!
