I’m ready for a redo… I grew up watching Gilmore girls…. I watched it as it came out and rewatched it when it hit Netflix…. I loved it then and I love it now…. I don’t understand how this revival was accepted and I don’t understand why the actors didn’t stop it… the characters were just not even the same people… I understand that people change and characters have evolution but these people were just not the same people at all…. Respectful, sweet and motivated Rory who doesn’t accept handouts is doing absolutely nothing in her life? Brilliant and independent Lorelei who has changed herself so much to be able to be with Luke still can’t figure out small communication issues after being together for 10+ years???? And luke who would do anything for Lorelei allows her to flounder??? What??? The only character who was true to himself was Jess who always comes into rori’s life when she needs a little nudge and he does do that. But Lorelei not supporting the book that Rory wants to write seeing how much she’s struggling and seeing the excitement in her eyes for writing their story and Lorelei says no??? Like what? Lorelei has never told Rory not to go after her passions ever!!! Also the relationship between Rory and Logan… really missed the mark. Logan offered Rory everything and she turned it down… Logan loves her so much he would drop anything for her and he just… let’s an engagement with someone else progress? I just hated it… also the musical episode was so weird and cringe and just wasn’t it. Please redo it! The love from the fans are still there and alive and will for sure accept a redo and even welcome it with open arms!! Please
