I thought it was great. I didn't expect it to be quite as emotional at the end. I think a lot of people expected it to something it wasn't which would account for some of the reviews, others just blatantly homophobic, some seeing homophobia where there is none. If you are reading reviews to decide to watch it, I would definitely recommend deciding for yourself. It is tense, inspires curiosity, leaves room for doubt and I think Batistas acting is really coming along in recent years. To a point where I feel his very strong performance elevates this film immensely.
