This story was difficult to follow at times due to the language it is written. However, I advise that you persist as the story itself is one of great pain, struggle and fantasy. It is truly a fascinating read, a completely new story for me and one that cannot be likened to any other book or film I have ever come across. I loved its originality and its ability to tackle present day issues but also found it a very heavy read. Please be aware This story includes a magnitude of triggers that some people may wish to know prior to reading as the detail can sometimes be harrowing. Overall I have recommended it to many people (with good warning of the contents) and I intend to finish the series. However, I do not find it the easiest of reads (linguistically & content-wise) and recommend a break book in between to lighten the mood.
