This series deserves ZERO stars. Tyla Perry obviously hates black women. This series is riddled with homophonic sex scenes, like he kept pouring in our face. I'm over black entertainment that consistently shows our people in a bad light. I stopped watching his movies after "A Family That Preys".. so disappointed I looked back. Boooooooooooo!!!! We are me than liquor, drugs strip clubs and alternative lifestyles.

If I could give it a zero, I would. Of course Lee Daniels has no men as main characters, demonize a father for serving in the military, has a trans as a bestie teaching the children to be criminals, absent minded, alcoholic mother, powerless women preachers all around leading churches.. need I say more? This movie has nothing to do with a true story and ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Christ. The people leaving 4/5 star reviews are part of the "Lee Daniels" gang. They will support any trash he puts out. I won't tell you not to waste your time watching because you may want a good laugh. Just don't have your expectations too high.

Entertaining, however if you don't know the true word of God it is very misleading and untrue. Trips me out how the world tries to sell you on the bible not being true, but they always use the bible as a storyline in all their movies and TV shows.
