I love Shauna's take on a bookshop story. I love the incorporation of diverse characters such as Maggie and Malcom. Both characters descriptions and interactions remind me of my Neurodiverse self as an ADHD person. It wasn't your typical stereotype characters. The storyline flowed well and there were many moments I felt the energy or the connection in the relationships. Or even hoped the bookshop would thrive after detoxing itself. Lastly, I liked that this was not another "spicy" consumed book. Don't get me wrong, the spicy parts of a book are nice. However, I am all about connections between people, places, and things. Life after all is intertwined.
