With the exception of three talents - (i) old man (protagonist), (ii) the old woman who could not talk and (iii) her smart grandson's exceptional acting, the others' actings were boring and only centred around fighting, arguing and yelling their voices.
Typical village style movie with an injustice towards the protagonist and how when he tries to fight justice and for situations to be in his favour, bribery and the corrupt big shots will be the usual obstacles.
Depressing movie. In the end, the poor gets treated unfairly and the rich gets richer and becomes more vile! May these people in real lives rot in hell, be crippled, be in the worst conditions being diagnosed with terminal illnesses and have slow and painful deaths! While this is just a movie, it is still a depiction of the things that's still happening in most rural villages in India. Money talks, as the cliche goes.
Stupid romantic scenes between the guy and the girl. Not a good actor but realised he's a politician's son so he just moved into acting easily when there are real aspiring talents/actors who are still trying to get into Kollywood! oh well, that's nepotism. Anyway, that aside and moving to the movie's review.
Nasser was a waste-of-time and a real cheap shot. This man should just retire. Annoying to see his face in almost all movies! Give other talents/actors an opportunity to act too, Nasser. Many, like me, would have assumed you're the lawyer who'd advocate for justice on the victim's behalf, and in the end, you just came in for a cameo and for your money. Gave a preachy lecture on 'traffic laws', that had nothing to do with the protagonist. Very misleading poster too.
Overall, 1/5 - just for the three people's actings. Unnecessary and silly cringe romance scenes.
