Wafer thin plot, Vijay's acting carries this film, some really good scenes but overall quite underwhelming still really good film though

One word: Overrated. The movie is brilliant, certainly a notch up from the first movie, but too many people are hyping way too much. Definitely not worth five stars. The movie was really underwhelming for me, after reading all the good reviews but finding out the movie was not so spectacular. But the overrated reviews aside, really great movie, loved the animation and the twist at the end, but the movie moved a bit too slow, some scenes were unnecessary, but still, good movie. Loved the references to the Venomverse, and the live action marvel movies. Marvel definitely wouldn’t have done a good job on this if Sony weren’t involved, that’s for sure. Really good character development of Gwen Stacy, felt like the whole movie was around her, it Miles. We get an insight into just how many spider men/women there are out there. So basically Animation: 10/10 Plot: 6/10 Screenplay: 8/10 Characters: 7/10 Ending: 6/10
