Truly beautiful footage throughout, the dedication that went into capturing the footage is admirable.
However, the script and narrating can be frustrating. There's blind optimism throughout each episode, "this population is steadily increasing" or "our forests (grasslands/oceans etc etc) are incredibly resilient". It rarely goes into detail as to exactly why the environment is being destroyed. Sure, we know that forests and grasslands can bounce back, but not when they're replaced by farmland. The final scene in the forest in Madagascar is truly heartbreaking, all of that biodiversity is now a couple of farms, yet it's completely glossed over in 3 seconds.
Please tell us in the programme how to save the planet whether it's a hard truth or not, nobody actually goes to your website at the end to find out how (not) to save the planet.
