Was hesitant to watch but went in with pretty low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It's feminist and definitely more focused on today's generation. I dont feel like it's moving too quickly either. Sure, sime aspects of character development and plot development are VERY different than the original, but this show has its own identity so I'm okay with that. Plus the graphics and technology available today make it really come to life! Can't wait for season 3, I hope the show goes as long as the original.

I've been waiting years to play this game. I was nervous about purchasing because I recently read a review before release that said it was "boring". I played for 5 hours straight last night! This game is amazing, so happy I went with my gut instead of some haters opinion. The game play is well balanced. Fighting styles are unique and there are plenty of abilities to unlock that make it more fun. The prologue sticks to a more linear style of fighting that is really just 2 buttons you can press, and slowly introduces new options for you. Playing in Japanese with English subtitles made it feel more authentic, but I ended up looking at the bottom of the screen too much to read so I switched to English.

It's a tough story but I loved that Naughty Dog made bold choices for characters. If the game had just been about Ellie getting revenge it would be been very boring. It shows that there are 2 sides to every story and that everyone has their own sense of what is right and wrong. In a world like this, it is every man for himself. As much as I loved Joel and Ellie, Abby's reasoning makes a lot of sense. Joel killed TONS of people in the first game and threw any possibility of a cure out the window so that he wouldn't have to be alone. And people change! Joel and Ellie went to live in a peaceful community for years after the end of the first game. A fairytale ending would have been whack. Play this game with an open mind!
