This is an interesting and well-made film; though shocking in many aspects. One question I still have is, why did Fuyao open an American plant? Another question I have is, how accurate are the translations of Chinese to English in the subtitles? I found some of the comments made about American workers extremely offensive. I'd like to know if the translations were correct. And it was interesting to see the disparate messages sent in Chinese-only and American-only meetings. Did Fuyao understand at the start of their acquisition that they would not be successful in making the American employees become Chinese? It sure seemed like they didn't.
