Season 1 is the best season of a show I've ever seen. It had great acting from Jessica Barden and Alex Lawther, great soundtrack fitting the depressing love tone of the show and great cinematography, there's not one shot in this show that annoys me. Finally the show had good plot twists with James mum committing suicide and how he has been lying to the viewer and Alyssa and also this idea of James thinking he's incontrol at the start as he is trying to kill her but it's Alyssa who controls what's going on in every scene. I like how these are two depressed people but with very different moods and the only time they can relate in mood is when there happy. Season 2 even though it was a higher budget wasn't as good as season 1 in my opinion. James had more of a character as he isn't a pyschopath anymore and is more human throughout the whole season but I feel he's a bit too different from what he was like at the end of season one when he was no longer a pyschopath. Bonnie trying to murder them was interesting as this plot line last season of James trying to murder Alyssa was stopped by the end of the second episode. The twist in season 2 when Bonnie kills them but then is revealed that this didn't happen and was actually disarmed annoys me as this didn't happen at any other point in the show. Season 2's actual ending was good enough for me to be satisfied the way the show ended though I feel this show would have benifited more without season 2. This show is very similar to I am not okay with this but instead of two protagonists I am not okay with this has one. What also annoys me when comparing these shows is that the end of the f**King world didn't need a season 2 but got one whilst I am not okay with this was setting up a season 2 but didn't get a season 2.
