For the first time since portrait artist of the year started I will not be watching the commission programme. Previous series have been getting steadily worse, but this year I really felt sorry for the two losing finalists, who produced talented and skilled portraits. The artist chosen by the judges painted unrealistic and grotesque images. I can't imagine how he will attempt to paint Lorraine Kelly. The programme and the judges have become embarrassing.

I love her travel shows usually, but was grateful for the fast forward button during the Eastbourne visit on 8 August. Someone selling vegan fish and chips!! If its vegan it is not fish. It is plant based and processed. The local fishermen must have been highly delighted!

To see the vet sobbing when he gave the news to a pet owner that their cat would have to be put down was a real turn off. Yes, be caring and understanding, but you need your vet to be professional, so they are in a position to support you when you need it most. Watching that episode I felt Noel crying put pressure on the cat owner to comfort him, not the other way round. After all, it was their pet, not his. Quite off-putting.

I watched the second series as far as the penultimate episode, when I gave up after discovering who the wild card was. I will not be watching the concert. This second series has been underwhelming to say the least. Talented pianists were overlooked in place of 'sob' stories and if Mika, who I had never heard of before series one, gets any more extreme (presumably to make up for a lack of talent?) he will explode. I hope they call it a day now.

Historically incorrect, so totally spoilt.

Watched the first episode. I hope it improves. I found the commentary patronising and quite boring. Monty seems to talk down to people. At one point I even detected him putting on a faux Spanish accent when interviewing one guest. Don't know yet whether I will bother with any more episodes.

With what is going on in the world at the moment, this programme should be compulsive viewing. Inspirational beyond belief. The girls father deserves a medal, father of the year does not come close. The dedication and love shown to, and for, these girls is beyond belief. I felt so humbled. I hope the girls father knows what he has achieved, just to be a good father to his girls. Well done. May the beautiful girls live long and happy lives. Thank you. ❤️

Used to love this show. Now the majority of it is either showing images of babies or dogs, or showing Fiona Bruce, a woman in her 50s giggling like a teenager over guessing incorrectly the 'game' of the week. Please return to the grown up, informative show it used to be, or lose even more viewers.

I was enjoying this immensely until the overblown Gordon Ramsay put in an appearance. The man does not seem intelligent enough to make a comment without using the 'f' word. Totally spoiled the programme for me. Won't be watching again.
