The books were so thrilling I felt as if I was reading a movie. I figured if anyone ever turned the books into a movie, it would be phenomenal. In my opinion this movie did the books no justice. They completely rushed the storyline into a shortened, far more cheesy rendition and I actually stopped watching before I reached the end. I’m a huge fan of this genre, Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter & Fantastic Beasts, etc. but this had to be the biggest let down. This written story has so much potential to be turned into a movie and unfortunately this didn’t cut it.
