The New Charlie's Angels Movie-A Commentary This is a spoiler free commentary (not a review or synopsis) about the new Charlie's Angels movie. I saw it this afternoon. Was it good? Was it bad? Let me put it like this, it was a sort of female version of the “Ocean 's 11” movie sequels. It's a “we're getting the band back together” type of film. This is a film of women having fun in an action movie portraying action characters with a variety of personalities (like the original). Don't expect anything more. I think of this film much the way I think of 2 player beach volley ball. It's not my favorite sport. I watch it from time to time. I find the women's game a lot more interesting and it holds my attention. I don't know why, but for some reason I find physically fit women in two piece bathing suits rolling around in the sand, sweating and tugging at their clothing as it creeps uncomfortably on their bodies infinitely more enjoyable to watching men do the same things. Does that make me sexist? Should I feel bad if I like the movie?
