Where to begin? The plot contrivances in Ep 1 had us shaking our heads. We gave them a halfhearted pass. Until Ep 2 when the coincidences in service to the plot became unbearable. After that, it was a Hate Watch right to the bitter end. The portentous score with its swooning strings tried desperately to tell us how to feel, because the acting and writing sure weren’t helping. The production employed a lot of people, so that’s why the two stars.
