As a left leaning Dem, Liz Cheney’s policies rarely fit my idea of equitable and fair governance. Yet I admire the integrity of Liz Cheney for the courageous role she has played in the attempt to unveil the truth about Trump and MAGA. Ms Cheney, you write that you will do everything to stop Trump from returning to the WH. Time is running out so please, jump in the race and run for President. Final thought - I do not yet understand, even after listening to your book, what hold Trump has over people, why they are so willing to march to his every word. Threat of personal safety is a huge motivator to concede your integrity, but as a left-leaning Democrat, I suspect that racism and misogyny lies underneath all of this and no one will say it. The white male US Citizen is threatened by people of color and women. The white male citizen isn’t at the front of the line any longer and shares the line with others who often don’t look the same. Who will have the courage to explicitly point this out? The idea that this nation was ordained by God, that God ordained white men, is an idea that must be transformed. Once again, thank you.
