A roadtrip about journalists making there way to the capital to capture in photography the end of a civil war. Good in patches and the ironic soundtrack suits the mood of the Film.Perhaps it could have been thirty minutes longer.The end was a disappointment. I had an open mind before watching; didn't feel the reviews were worth the price of the 4k disc. It's well made with a solid Dolby Atmos track. There's nothing you haven't seen in other TV shows or films to keep you interested. After watching all I could think of was how selfish modern society really is. Watch; The year of living dangerously, The killing fields or Apocalypse now. Similar films,all better done.

Indy is back, with a sense of seen it before though a very solid film. The production is gorgeous and looks stunning. You've got the Germans during WW2,an artifact with mysterious powers.Sounds familiar but this is Indy after all. Time passes by to the end of the nineteen sixties.Now with Harrison Ford playing a grumpy old Indy.The real mystery begins. Playing basically himself he gives a good performance. Plenty of scrapes and implausible escapes.With a good supporting cast and a familiar tone,full of Solid effects and a great soundtrack. You will be entertained.

Star wars meets the matrix with more than a touch of sooty and sweep. The ancient times of star wars are explored through a pair of twins;one good one bad. The galactic police force known as Jedi are dragged into finding the bad one , before she kills all the jedi for letting her down.Unfortunately the jedi in ancient times are in fact the keystone cops. They come across really dumb and at times comedic. Sooty and Sweep would have come across as more believable. A lot of our subscribers cash has been spent on,and it does look fabulous.Great soundtrack too, feels very Star Wars. Where do Sooty and Sweep come into this you might be wondering.The comedy magic of course.Rather than read a few books about Star Wars and become familiar with it's nearly fifty year lore.Somebody watched a couple of episodes of Book of Boba Fett and wrote a flat script ,poorly acted for the most part, thinking it would entertain you and me. Actors should be hired on merit, not to throw a cast together in five minutes thinking that will do. Dissatisfied and disappointed,makes the average Obi wan series,look like an all time classic.Do I want to see different stories in the Star wars universe;yes,,Andor was brilliant though a bit slow.Obi wan wasn't awful and at times good. Showing what's possible to you and me. The two stars are for production and music; well done to those involved.The look and sound of Star Wars is there.Shame about the rest. C minus must try harder.

A gently reworked h g wells science fiction book. The loss of his beloved Emma spurs a 19th century professor to embark on the design and assembly of a time machine to change the past.... Only it fails and decides to journey Into the future to year 802701. A polished and charming film, with excellent effects for the time. It's been said that the point of the book is missing , I'd say it's still there.It really does make you think.Which is the point of any good story. A solid cast and one of the very best film scores whisk the ninety minutes by in a flash.

Not sure if everyone wants a second chance at life . This excellent film will underline the above for you! Not another black and white movie.. Art films of the sixties wouldn't be made otherwise.It does work in the films favour for once.Great camera work. Change your life, because you feel it's boring or stuck in a rut.Pushed into it.. perhaps. Rock Hudson at the top of his game takes you on science fiction story that stays with you long after you've watched it. Brilliant stuff,to be watched when you're feeling upbeat.
