I really enjoyed this movie. Hated the ending. Unnecessary to leave it up to one's imagination....also I don't understand why suddenly it went from being probably a hung jury to everyone agreeing??! Why did he vote the man guilty? His whole plan was for the defendant to be found mot guilty or at the very least to have a hung jury so why was it written almost at the end that he suddenly changed his mind and condemned a man to spending his whole life in prison for something he didn't do??!! Apart from that frustrating part of the film, I would recommend this to anyone who loves courtroom drama. And those who don't to stay far,far away.....

It was a genuinely lovely film, beautifully acted and the ending was so sad but in a happy way. Great chemistry between the three leads. I would 100% recommend this film.

I thought the storyline was a bit silly and I didn't know how seriously to take it..... At times it felt like it was satire or a spoof mimicking a cheap thriller. The plots looked cheap. Was this an indie film? I wouldn't recommend this to anyone apart from diehard Elizabeth Banks fans.

I thought the dialogue was very well written, clever and so typical of 3 disjointed adult sisters who have nothing in common with each other. I thought the casting was a bit off for the druggie sister, although she got better as the film went along. It's not a film you could watch again and again. The ending wasn't the best. Glad I watched it.

I wanted to give up on it after the second episode but persevered. I didn't like the two leads although I generally love Cate Blanchett in other roles. The best ones were the other couple. Lesley Manville was excellent as usual. I'm glad now I saw the whole series but the last episode was too rushed and everything tied up too quickly. All in all I would still recommend watching this show

This drama was fantastically put together and the acting was first class. Yes, she wasn't a likeable character and I imagine her character was difficult to write and to act but the actress, I think, captured her brilliantly, as in we saw the real woman, warts and all. Shawn Evans was very believable as the psychopath as well. Well worth watching but please be warned, it's quire grim to watch!

Dennis Quaid and Penelope Ann Miller went very well together and the end was very touching. It took me a while to get into the film. Halfway through it got better. Though it dud feel it'd been made by a life long fan of Reagan..... I would recommend the film nonetheless less.

I normally love Anna Kendrick films but this only gets one star based on the authentic 70s details and costumes. Why was she the lead? Her character really should only have been a bit part in the film. I intensely dislike the way they turned the dating show into another feminist rant. That wasn't meant to be the story but it turned out to be a large part of the film and I don't know what the point of all that was. I suppose just another way of shoehorning 3rd wave feminism into a film and reminding everyone yet again that men are evil..... I was disappointed when the film ended as I thought it was only halfway through! Felt underwhelmed and cheated. A complete waste of a story.

For a start, this should have been a much longer series. The last episode was rushed to the point of being ridiculous. In the space of ten minutes, everything happened and then it just finished..... I had heard good reviews about the actress playing Joan but I didn't think she was particularly good and many times came across as amateurish and wooden. The last episode was just pure fiction. I have been waiting for this series for so long and now I feel like it was a complete waste of time. The two stars are for the first two episodes.

If this had been just a regular rom com where by the end of the film, they finally find each other then great. If this film has something to say about domestic violence, then it really shouldn't. Not that I want to watch something particularly violent bit if that is what the film is about then the content has to match that. It didn't. It was so watered down, the abuse, that it would have been easy enough to have missed it all. The film (imo) didn't convince me that this man was a violent abuser. So therefore the film had no meaning other than it was a good film to watch on a Sunday afternoon.
