A beautiful movie! Unlike many movies, it is not emotionally self indulgent. This makes the pathos and love so much more effective. Richard Dreyfus is such a good actor.

Some parts are funny but it's a bit slow, laboured.

Apart from the drag shows, the movie is lack-lustre, which is a shame, because family acceptance of a gay child or sibling is very real. The bereaved mother (Jacki Weaver) changes too quickly from a church choir leader to a drag show manager. Single-handedly, she solves all their problems. This is where the movie loses its credibility.

Wonderful. Full of fun. Lots of action, intrigue and romance with a range of larger - than - life characters. Actors would love it.

Beautiful, funny yet poignant.

I thought "The Circle" would be more predictable but it took a surprising twist. It is thought-provoking and depicts the way in which our technology has deprived us of our privacy.

I enjoyed the subject matter. It was refreshing to find the delight in language for its own sake, so cleverly woven into a story, to give it wider appeal. The two leads were excellent and supported by a very strong cast. I have not seen Mel Gibson in such a restrained role.

Gripping story. The private investigator is a bit sleazy and a bit nasty to those he wants information from. As the plot progresses, and becomes darker and more brutal, he also deteriorates; and we, the viewers think we know what is happening. I was not prepared for the horrifying denouement.
