I don't usually play online games. My preference is mission based single player games, and I played the game on an XBox Series X.
I found Redfall to be a pretty good game overall.
I know some people made comments about the streets not having npc's running around, but let's think about this for a second. Would you really expect everyone to be carrying on like it was a regular day during a vampire apocalypse? No, everyone would be hiding inside, so it makes sense that the only ones outside are bad guys.
The game mechanics are actually pretty good, from the running and jumping to the weapons, it all seems pretty smooth to me.
The graphics are nice, from the blood splatter on walls to the natural scenery, it gives the aspect of watching an animated movie.
The only downside I have for the game is the constant demand to be online when playing solo, and the inability to save the game where you are at if you have to leave. It's frustrating to complete most of the tasks for a mission and have to leave the game for real world issues, and then when you come back, it starts you at a safe house, and you have to trek across ground that you already covered, sometimes having to fight the same enemies again.
