I just discovered this series, now binge-watching after downloading episodes 2-8. Yes, very exciting, complex plots (sometimes) but it's a bit too obviously made for US distribution. Two supermen, one rather more super is of course American, always ends up saving the day. (An American in a British under-cover, special forces group?) About a third of each episode is take up by massive gunfights with assault weapons, thousands of rounds fired, our heroes plus one or two associates kill off 30, 40 or more people with brown or yellow skins while rarely getting hurt themselves, and the bad guys always die at once - not very realistic. The women are all drop-dead gorgeous and utter geniuses in unarmed combat while also lethal with guns and of course every one of them immediately engages in wild sex with Scot on first meeting. It's all a bit gratuitous and wastes a lot of story time. If I want to watch porn, I can go to Pornhub. So yes, fun, but really rather silly!

I loved the show and Claire Goose was perfect for the role. I cannot understand why the BBC killed it. I just saw an episode of a Canadian imitation "Coroner." Very poor imitation, fails on all grounds.
