The "background" of the movie was awesome. What I mean by that is like the things in the background, like the rooms, the bar, there was something about the way each place was filmed that was very good. I think the "background" is what made this movie. That said, the plot, the script, and the acting from every single character, except maybe Tim Robbins and Kevin Bacon, was atrocious. It is a moronically, simple plot with unexciting twists, a very corny, unrealistic script, and the rotten cherry on top is Sean Penn's HORRENDOUS acting job in this film. Absolute trash. Would have given it one star but the background was pretty good.
