Should've taken out some of the nonsense though. Spoiler:
For example, after seeing them killed and eaten they go back with their dad? The kids would've been frantic begging him not to return to that place. But they go along with him, who breaks in? And the kid who just makes jokes about staying at the cabin when the other leave, even after seeing it for himself. Continues peeing? Not to mention throwing a rock and busting out a window alerting the lady that they were outside. Any real person would be freaking out and getting the fk out of there without being noticed. Not realistic at all. Decent movie but just a few little things should've been written better and it would've been so much better. A conflict and encounter between them could have been established in other, less ludicrous ways. For instance, the lady could've raced to the family's cabin and invited them drunk couple over which would give the kids a legitimate reason to return without the stupidity of going over there and breaking in and just hanging out in the living room lol wow. (AGAIN AT A HOUSE WHERE THEY JUST SEEN TWO PEOPLE MURDERED AND EATEN) How did someone working on this film not suggest doing these things differently? Could've been so much better. Tye acting was actually pretty good for a low budget film and at times the dialogue sounded natural and realistic. But, you see it all the damn time in movies nowadays, from small micro budget films to big budget. Common sense is not very common I guess.
