To everyone who has been saying this movie was a waste of time or horrible: you have no appreciation for an actually thought-provoking, stylistic and interesting horror movie. No, this movie is not going to make you jump because it is not meant to. If you go into the film expecting a traditional horror plot, you are missing the entire point and what makes 'It Follows' so unique: its convincingly realistic and suspenseful atmosphere and its terrifying concept that is supported by careful cinematography, soundtracks, visually intriguing scenes, and constant unsettling shots. If you watch expecting something that 'It Follows' is not, you will be disappointed. But if you watch the film for the story and not because its a "horror" movie its one of the most successfully unnerving movies i've ever seen. Everyone is too focused on having their eyes satisfied by shallow, plotless, predictable horror films that come nothing close to this.
