A fantastic start to what looks like a fantastic show. Anyone expecting TNG season 8 will be disappointed as this is a slick completely different type of show featuring a world weary and tired Picard. There's a air of darkness about the whole thing and I can't wait to see how the series pans out. Judging from episode 1 it's a winner.
