M. Night Shyamalan's Avatar movie was better than this. Would give zero stars if Google allowed. It's so sad that Ridley Scott thought he could make the Book of Exodus "acceptable to non-believers" by changing so many aspects of the true story (i.e. changing the ten plagues, portraying God as a child, portraying Moses to leave his family to go to war (not true at all), and the worst of all – making the Red Sea recede backwards instead of being split apart.) I went into the cinema thinking that it would be the best film, but ended up watching 3 hours of blood-boiling inaccuracy and blasphemy. Just saying, if he made a movie about any other religion with such a great level of inaccuracy, he'd be flamed and would have lost his job. Wish I could wash my eyes after watching this, take back my 3 hours, and remove any infuriating memory I have of this movie and how it butchered my faith. Even more so, wish that every copy of this movie be erased from existence and the $150 million or so budget be a waste. Too bad others actually like such an insulting, disrespectful and insensitive movie (could it be because it has some action and suggestive sex scenes?). Disgusting movie. Don't waste your time.
