The kids and I love this show. We've tried to re-create some of the cake masterpieces with more disastrous results than the contestants.

The initial episode had some cringeworthy scenes that dealt with race, but the show is ok. I continue to watch it because things are beginning to settle down. I'm black and love the Johnsons. Dave reminds me so much of my college roommate. He's always happy and feels the need to go over and beyond just be liked.
