Such a well made movie. Don't mind the whining comments saying that the antagonist was already revealed and so on. Since its based on true events, there is no point in revealing the villain at the end. I don't understand why people need engaging thrillers everytime. If you loved slow paced series like True Detective, then you would love this one as well. Not to mention the amazing academy award nominated cast. This is a must watch !

MM is a cleverly crafted movie. I was all excited to watch this and it didn't let me down. The way Basil pulled this off is absolutely phenomenal. Here are ny thoughts on the much anticipated super hero movie Pros -The BGM and the songs were super engaging -Nobody from malayalam cinema can do the role of MM other than Tovino. His charisma and physique is what MM needed. - I felt the villain's character was highly layered and beautiful. Need a prequel of his character. All the other cast did a good job especially the kid. -The environment and the context setting worked really well -The cinematography was fantastic. Thanks to Sameer Thahir Cons -The bus scene was a cliched and an over used template and the vfx of that scene was horrible(rest were fine) -I felt Tovino's character turning into a dressed up super hero was abrupt and hence it didn't invoke a wow moment -The ending scene could have been better -The pace of the movie was kind of non uniform. Though it shifted gears post interval, the transition wasn't that smooth. Overall this is a brilliant attempt by Basil and his crew and we should also be mindful of the limited budget the movie had. Hope it scales up to a full fledged super hero franchise in the upcoming installments.

Season 1 had couple of loop holes but was still watchable with the evolving character and the story development. I had high hopes on season 2 and wanted to see how Assane would take his revenge. But I have to admit that season 2 had tons of loopholes than season 1. Season 2 was more cheesy, melodramatic and unrealistic. This reminded me of the thrillers from 1990s. A multi millionaire trusting a newbie kid to handle his inflow of cash and an investment advisor walking around with his client's passwords and everything in a leather suitcase ?? c'mon !!! They have tried to bend and twist the real life happenings to fit their story line and it wasn't believable at all. Climax scenes were absolute rubbish. So depressed with the way it ended.
