After reading a number of reviews, I'd rate this film higher than most of them. I do enjoy watching most of it.
There is a lot of talk about "language", as it is seen as a film for kids. Guess what? I like it for adults, so do not pay attention to this apparent contradiction of what is said.
It Is a funny film. Funny (almost silly) premise, but I see a lot of the frequently overdone acting and silliness as just a product of its time.
But there was some really fun humor written in, too. I thought the robot making a colossal mess in the kitchen was hysterical.
Some reviews considered it too simplistic for adults. I believe the theme of what it means to be a human and thinking individual was not particularly childlike. Seen it many times just to chill out and have a few chuckles.
