The villain was hardly believable, and could’ve taken the curse idea into more depth and scares.
Arnie’s plot line was kind of shoved around and I wish they would’ve not focused on it entirely but coexist with Ed and loraine.
It feels like a rushed movie in some parts. Almost like there are a few scenes missing or they had to cut down some individual scenes to make time for Ed and loraine’s love story. I would’ve have minded it as much if they would’ve fleshed it out more, but it seems rushed and halfassed. The whole plot was them to find evidence that Arnie was possessed, and at the end of the film, there was no evidence shown in court. No wonder (spoiler) we was found guilty.
With that being said, it was a decent movie to watch in theaters. Not really a movie you watch again in theaters but maybe on Netflix in a couple of years.
There were some funny gags here and there which gave me a chuckle once in a while.
There we’re definitely some Erie and creepy scenes spreader out; however, compared to the previous conjuring movies: lack luster.
The effects and all the technical aspects of the film seemed pretty good.
In conclusion: Cool concept and a good watch.
