The worst film adaptation of a book I have ever seen. They appear to have briefly glanced at the books, and then cobbled together a mangled storyline that has lost all the magic and unique character of the series. None of the characters were accurately portrayed (although Josh Gad’s performance was very good, even though his character had still been tweaked). The rest of the acting was very poor, and a lot of the dialogue was cheesy and childish. All in all, a bitter disappointment for Artemis Fowl fans, who have waited years to see this amazing series on the big screen. If film creators aren’t going to do it properly, then they shouldn’t bother doing it at all.
